This fresh, professional nut & bolt rotisserie build was recently finished by the famed, premier racer Ron Clevenger of Team Clevenger Racing. This 1958 Chevrolet Big Window Resto-Mod Apache pick-up is absolutely stunning & flawless. With no expense spared, this build is absolutely spectacular with a perfect balance between elegance and hot rod.
The palladium silver metallic finish is flawless and is complimented with exquisite black leather interior. With the built 454 cubic inch V-8 power house, this beauty has the right balance of power, responsiveness and sound to be a hot rod yet still built to drive and enjoy. Further, this beauty is upgraded with vintage heating & air conditioning, power steering, tilt steering column and power brakes for the convenience and luxury of a modern-day vehicle.
The professionally built power house V-8 big block engine is a generation 5 Chevrolet 454 balanced and blue printed engine built by Ron Clevenger of Team Clevenger racing. The 500 hp engine has been built with no expense spared and using only the best components money can buy. The engine is backed by a freshly built TH400 Transmission with manual valve body, 2500 rpm stall converter and a B&M quarter stick shifter. The mid length headers flow out to dual 3" exhaust with short mufflers creating the perfect sound of a very healthy hot rod.
Feeding this power house is a Mallory Comp series 250 fuel pump from the new aluminum gas tank which has been relocated under the bed. Earls braided fuel lines and dual filters have been used eliminating rubber fuel lines. When it is time to top off at the pump, the easy access billet flip cap fuel filler cap makes filling up clean and easy.
Keeping things cool, the aluminum two core radiator with dual 11" electric fans (3000cfm total) cools 600 plus hp on the hot summer days.
Underneath this beauty, the frame has been media blasted and painted with POR15 for rust prevention. On the corners, the new US MAGS chrome Rambler staggered wheel set give this beautiful resto-mod the perfect lowered stance allowing drivability and comfort without the hassles of notching or air bags. The wheels are wrapped in new BFGoodrich g-Force Comp 2 tires with 235/40/ZR18 in the front and 255/35/ZR20 in the rear. Finally, for safety, updated new cross drilled and slotted disk brakes have been installed for added safety and stopping power.
This beauty is still a trailer queen coming out of a fresh build and only has 32 test miles on the clock since completion. This Chevy Big Window is as new condition and ready to win shows and be enjoyed.
This vehicle has undergone a complete recent nut & bolt professional restoration and build with a clean title.
