1952 Chevrolet Other Pickups 5 WINDOW CAB Description

Up for sale here is my 1952 Chevrolet 1/2-ton 5-window pickup truck in original paint! Well, sort of....what paint you see on it is indeed factory original, but everything else is the work of Mother Nature, who added a cool factor earned from many years spent out in a west coast desert. Professional builders and painters try to replicate this "patina"....some come close, but no one can achieve this look as well as Mother Nature's hand, not even Chip Foose! It's a real-deal sun-worn truck wearing all of its original tin, with no rot!!!...a very rare find!

The drivetrain is a straight six 235 cubic inch Chevy engine that was rebuilt and runs strong and very, very smoothly. The three on the tree column-shifted manual transmission works equally as smoothly and adds another touch of cool factor! This beautiful and desirable 5-window pickup also features solid rust-free floor pans, no rust on the door sills, hinge pockets, or door bottoms! Its as solid an original trck as I've ever seen. Even the frame is solid as a rock. It has all new braking system components, new bed wood, new exhaust system, new shock absorbers, new door glass and channel felts, a sliding rear window, crystal clear windshield, new weatherstripping, new Coker whitewall tires, working vent windows - (remember those?) - all new wiring harness from headlights to turn signals, a modern blade-style fuse block, a modern 12-volt charging system, and aftermarket gauges that are set into a nostalgic finned aluminum panel to compliment and blend in with the design of the iconic Chevy AD dashboard. The seat upholstery is a beautiful tan/saddle with no rips or tears, the matching brown carpet is of high quality and brand new, as is the headliner, the door cards and even a leather grained steering wheel cover (a new addition, not shown in photos) to protect your delicate skin.......all of this conspires to make you feel like you're sitting in a classic Mercedes Benz! The sun visor is an original Fulton period accessory, adding another touch of shaded cool to this ride!
The truck's tin is very solid, there is no evidence of any prior bodywork or bondo anywhere, even in all the typical areas that these usually rot out, attesting to a life spent in a dry climate. The panel gaps are as close to perfect as we've ever seen, even on custom trucks! The doors close solidly and open with ease. The truck ambles down the road wonderfully and with ease with a compliant ride and a coolness that not many other vehicles can offer, certainly none at this price point! The steering is light and easy with no notchiness at all, and the brakes stop powerfully with no side-side pulling at all. Total confidence in driving and braking!
Folks, when they are right, they are right, and this one is right in all the right ways, including its price tag: at only $17,500 obo this wonderfully preserved relic of Americana can be yours right now! A perfect backdrop to advertise your business, or use it as a prop for movie shoots, weddings, for hay rides, bat mitzvahs, divorce parties, trips to Home Depot, a foundation for a great patina resto-rod, you name it! Swap out the drivetrain with a small-block chevy and you'll have the ultimate sleeper hot-rod truck! The possibilities are endless, and one thing is guaranteed: you will draw attention EVERYWHERE you go, like the Ferrari guys do, but better; this one was built by the hands of The Greatest Generation ever, and made in the best country on the planet: the US of A!

Call or text me at (917) 952-1680 to discuss this incredible low-maintenance pickup truck. I've owned quite a few of these Chevy AD trucks, built a bunch, too, and have two additional ones in process at our shop right now - none have been as authentic-patina/perfect-coolas this one!

Overseas buyers: I can personally deliver the truck to the New Jersey docks for a small fee.
