Unverified 70,000 original miles per previous owner.

I just drove this car for over 2000 miles from Portland to Banff and Jasper National Parks in Canada, back over to Vancouver BC, Vancouver Island and home. Trouble free driving. This was a nostalgia trip for myself and my brothers. We grew up going to Canada in a 1966 Belair Wagon on many fishing and camping trips.

Last year this car drove the 2200 mile Route 66 and performed great, even while pulling a Shasta Trailer.

The undercarriage is absolutely solid, looks like a new car. No rust repair anywhere. I have several pictures available upon request.

Paint is a metallic red with a gorgeous glitter in sunlight. It was done a few years back and does have a few flaws here and there.

This car starts and runs great.

I just spent over $1000 having the original AC modified and converted to R134.

Car has a spare with the rallye wheel, cap and beauty ring. It also has a Coker tire on it.

I installed a used roof rack prior to the trip using only stainless screws and marine grade silicone for sealing.

The only issues are:

300 miles into my trip the odometer stuck while trying to roll over to 69000. This caused the speedo to jump a little so I disconnected the cable so there would be no damage. I have a replacement unit coming and can install or send with the car. Taking the speedo out is pretty easy.

A little vibration from 55-59 and again from 67-71 mph. Likely this is tire or balance issues as the drivetrain has been taken car of before the trip. I did not think about balancing tires before then.

I sustained a rock chip in the windshield. I have scheduled a new replacement to be installed on Tuesday Oct 2nd and this is included in sale price.

Minor trans and oil drips when sitting.

SO WHY AM I SELLING AFTER JUST TAKING A TRIP?

As stated earlier this car was for a nostalgia trip. One of my brothers has a terminal illness and I wanted to do that for him. I always planned on selling it next spring. BUT, much to my surprise I sold my house while on vacation and new need to move within two weeks. (I say surprise because market had died and the listing was about to expire.) I have another collector car, a boat, a work car, my grandson’s car and my personal vehicle to move so something has to give.

I paid much more for the car than I am listing it for. In fact the price is less than 2/3 of my investment as I just want this car to move at this price and not have to wait until spring.
