1964 Chevrolet Nova Chevy II 400 Description

INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME. PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AT (76ZERO) 8O5-803EIGHT OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY IT NOW. This is an extremely solid and very original 1964 Chevrolet Nova two door post that has not been cut up or modified. It is a Little Old Lady type Survivor car that is 100% bone stock. Whether you have been dreaming of building that Hot Rod or Custom SS clone, a G-Force inducing Pro Touring Restomod machine, a bone crushing Drag Car to race, or just a Daily Driver LS V-8 swap, this car is perfect to go any direction you want! Even if you wanted to do a factory type restoration, a stock, rock solid, and complete California car is the one to start with anyhow. The car is very solid and very straight. The doors shut with that nice thud sound that only original cars have and only on cars that have never been blown apart for restoration. The car has only a couple minor rust spots, all of which are easily repairable without replacing any body panels. It has a small spot at the bottom of the passenger door where the car got scraped and minor rust formed. It looks worse in the pictures than it actually is because the paint is gone. There is also a crack in the paint on the driver's side rear quarter with some evidence of light bondo but it was not from rust repair. The quarter panels still have the factory splatter paint on the inside. Nothing major but, unlike a lot of sellers, I want to be upfront and honest from the start so what you get is probably even better than you were expecting. The floorboards and trunk pan are excellent. There is some minor rust around the drain plug on the passenger side front floor from a leaky heater core. I do not even know if most people would notice this stuff. I am just trying to point out everything big or small. The paint is old and faded. The car runs and drives well for a 54 year old Nova. It is bare bones. Manual steering and manual drum brakes. The six cylinder engine was rebuilt by the previous owner. It runs great but I am unsure of the exact mileage since. The one upgrade from stock was replacing the original slush box Powerglide transmission with a Turbo 350 automatic with a shift kit. They are much nicer to drive with the three speed. All of the lights, gauges, brake lights, signals, etc. work fine. New gas tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, and carburetor. The Chevy II also has a new exhaust. The interior is in good original shape. The upholstery is good front and back. The only spot is a small split in a seam on the upper outside corner of the top half of the driver's part of the bench seat. The dash is in nice condition, as are the gauges. The headliner is nice. The interior dome light even still works. The bumpers are in good condition. Both doors lock and unlock with the keys. Clean, clear California title in hand with current tags. The Nova is not fast, it is not a matching number Super Sport, and it is also not 50k. What it is, is a great old Chevy. You will not find one this clean back East and you should always start with the best bones you can find. You definitely will not find a better deal on a solid old Nova like this one. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Thanks!
