1991 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab k2500 4x4 5.7 Manual 4 speed (SM465)
1991 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Silverado Description
Consider the amount of work and money here before making a reasonable offer
*****************************************************
1991 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 extended cab (original owner) 8 foot bed, 5.7 (350 cubic inches)
. (sm465). I ordered this truck in November 1990 (back when you could check the boxes) I picked it up in February 1991. I have driven nearly every mile on it, it was my daily driver until 2006, after that I drove it infrequently but still kept it up. I have personally done ALL maintenance on it religiously.
Truck has had a partial body-off restoration.
New parts, whenever possible I used AC delco OEM.
NEW PARTS: front bumper and Hardware Grill, both fenders, radiator support, radiator, AC condenser, drier, new hood, complete new front end with hardware, ball joints, control arm bushings, bolts and adjusters, tie rods, center link, oil cooler lines, clutch master, all new brakes, new calipers, rotors, pads, wheel cyl, shoes, stainless steel brake lines and fuel lines, brake cables, new fuel tank and fuel pump, new starter, new windshield-- I'm sure im leaving stuff out, basically everything I could fix I did. Everything that needed replacing, got it.
Body Work: Replaced both fenders, radiator support, hood, both bumpers, both cab quarter panels, all body mounts and bushings
The frame was completely needle scaled, treated with metal conditioner, and painted with thick epoxy paint
(chassis saver). Both front cab mounts removed and replaced. The entire underside of truck and inner fenders were painted with epoxy also, the inside of the new bumpers were painted with epoxy (had some leftover). The windows were removed for bodywork and paint. All new body side moldings. New badges and decals. I used two stage paint, 3 coats of black and 3 coats of euro clear with way too many hours of blocking and polishing. Also clear chip guarded at the bottom.
Everyone who looks at this truck tells me the pictures don't do it justice
Rebuilt engine has about 22k on it, done with quality parts, forged pistons .030 over, balanced, bronze guides, new valves. All work on engine done by quality machine shop. Edelbrock performer TBI intake manifold, [still have original] with new injectors and pressure regulator, other than intake manifold the engine has no modifications. (no headers, cam ect)
Rebuilt transmission, rebuilt axle shafts, rebuilt and balanced drive shafts, rebuilt rear end
Gibson stainless exhaust cat back
I have done so much work to this truck I'm sure Im leaving some out. My intention was to keep this truck but space and other projects are winning the battle.
I have made my best effort to describe this truck accurately, it's always best to inspect it in person whenever possible
This vehicle is being sold AS IS, with no warranty, expressed, written or implied.
There are a few paint imperfections, I have driven this since the work was done (not much) so it's dirty underneath, there are two small burn marks on drivers door panel-- NOT a smoker (pops from welding panel) headliner. tires have some dry rot but lots of tread.
I have many pictures I can send
I have it listed locally and reserve the right to end it early.
