1980 Chevy Luv 4X4 Mikado
1980 Chevrolet LUV Mikado Description
I'm selling my dad's luv truck that he had for many years. This truck is what I got my driver's license in & I'm 40 so its been in the family for a while. The truck has been sand blasted & undercoated under bed, rails, rear end even the drive shaft. It was painted same for the frontend all but under the cab & floor pans. The truck has had fuse box to new rebuilt electrical alternator etc. Everything works on the truck its had all new gas line's carb rebuilt even down to new shoes/pads, brake lines front & rear, calipers, wheel cylinders there's not much that has not been replaced with remanufactured or new parts. I started on the truck 3 yrs ago & it had at that time new battery, starter, brake lines & up. The truck has been insured & drove not daily but occasionally with no problems. It has always had synthetic oil ran in it; grade 15w50 since my dad put a new motor in it in the late 80's. Its got a G200 & is a lot stouter than the original G180 it came with. The last current gas was 32-36 mpg & that was in April when I took a 80 mile one way trip with no problem. The truck has led light bulb's down to a new turn signal/head dimmer switch. The truck has a heater but no ac or power steering but has the Mikado package all gears work & change easily. It had a new clutch put in at the time of motor & the 4wd system was put in at the same time with no problem. All hubs lock manual & unlock with no problem. Truck still has all skid plates. The truck has a new set of 6 ply tires on it with less than 1,000 to 1400 miles. In one of the pics I have a header that I painted to match the rest of the motor & new door seal's still in the package I haven't put on. I was gonna put a new seat cover on the seat & just let be what is seen in the pics. The original radio was gone so I put a pioneer with speakers back the CB is a time period correct CB. & was put in new by my dad when he first got the truck. The truck was drove daily by my dad until his passing on a 11 mile one way commute then got tied up in his estate & I bought it non running from the estate lawyer & had it running & insured using it like he did within a month since then putting over $2500 in parts & paint on it be side's what I paid for it. I have no title for the truck and thats how I bought it when bought it of my dads estate but truck will be sold with a bill of sale. I am selling this Truck as is with no returns or refunds due to the age of the truck. Also selling As Is where is With No Warranty Implied Or Expressed. I CAN SEND A WALK AROUND VIDEO AND COLD CRANK VIDEO TO INTERESTED BUYERS. MORE PHOTO'S UPON REQUEST TO SERIOUS BUYERS.
