1979 Chevrolet G20 Van Description

This is a 2 owner 1979 CHEVY window van Beauville model. Last owner of van had it since 1981 & took excellent care of it. The van spent most of every year out in Washington state were he worked as a horse vet. In the fall it came back to NY state where he had it cleaned and stored away in the garage. I bought it as part of an estate buyout. Took it to my mechanic & told him to go through it and see what it would require to drive it anywhere in the country. The van is so good all he said was to change the oil. I did put a new set of tires on that are brand new with zero miles. Then had it detailed inside and out. The van has never been smoked in. The interior is excellent except for the driver sun visor. The back shag rug is nice and clean. Driver & passenger swivel seats had custom made covers leaving both mint underneath. He also had a cover on the headliner which we took out cause of its age. Has an original GM CB radio. The bad news is it never came with AC. There is a stack of receipts for maintenance. The van is super tight not so much as a squeak or rattle. Has a 350 motor with 115,000 miles. Has tons of power. You can't even hear it run. The transmission and rear end are excellent. Also it was never towed. The body has never been repaired or repainted. No dents. No creases. Passenger side mirror is cracked. The chrome is all good. The paint is special order from the factory along with other items. It also has two spare tires that are in great condition. The under carriage is absolutely free of any rust and is super clean. This van is like a time capsule. It only needs gas to drive worry free anywhere in this country. You'll be hard pressed to find another unmolested virgin like this one.
