This auction is for 1946 SWB 1/2 ton Panel Truck in very original condition. The motor starts and runs very well on a gas can, the tank needs cleaning. This truck has sat on a farm in the California Central Valley for and needs restoration. The truck has some rust specifically at the lower edge of the right quarter panel and a small area on each side of the rain gutter at the very rear where it the roof dips down dips down, a couple inches on each side the remainder of the roof is solid with just some surface rust. Thereis some damage on the passenger side rear. The area was damage previously repaired and they backed into something again the metal is wrinkled up and the right side door is dented but repairable. It needs metal work in that area and the doors refitted. The left rear door is very nice and the right door dented. The side window are good and roll up and down and the windshield is good.The engine appears to be the original as does the transmission and differential. I don’t have the seat .The front u joint needs replacing and isn’t hooked up. That may be why the quit driving it. Overall it is very solid body and the wood floor only has a couple bad spots. The frame is in good condition.I am selling the truck with a Bill of Sale printed form from the California DMV as it hasn’t been registered in years. The truck steers and rolls and I can store it for awhile after receiving payment if some time is needed to pick it up. I will also help the new owners shipper with loading.
