1955 Chevrolet Other Belair Description

1955 Chevy Nomad

Most of the car is there thought many parts will need to be reconditioned. I started this build but it is just to much for my skill set and pocket book. If someone can do sheet metal work, it’s a awesome project worth much complete. Here is what you get.

Clear texas title

Complete body and chassis with all original components.

Small Block Chevy (will require rebuild) not sure Size or condition.

Power glide trans

Nice wheels and tires

Front seat good condition

Two rear seats. One is excellent, one is not. Has trim and hinges

All internal and external is there with the exception of fender/door and headlight trim.

New rear door complete and two sets of rear door trim (will need re chrome)

Two lift gates one will glass. Hinges and spring bars present

Interior headliner rods all there. (Will need re chrome)

Dash components will need reconditioning

Nomad front and rear bumpers in good shape.

Headlight buckets

The Bad

Wont deny, body needs work

Will need complete floors from to rear, Danchuk has all the sheet metal for this car new. Quarters will need patch work or just replace new.

Roof will need a couple of roof spots repaired but can be done.

I was going to get en entire new front sheet metal set for it. Cheaper them having a body guy repair what’s there.

Frame has a couple of spots to address but can be repairs and all body supports are good.

See pics.

These are getting very rare to find and dollar for dollar you won’t loose on these cars. They are going up fast

I have a 350 motor and a 700r4 I can sell separate if buyer wants but not included
