1960 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Biscayne Description
1960 Chevrolet Biscayne
I have owned this car for 16 years since 2002. It has always been taking care of. She has been taken on state to state road trips and has never left me stranded on the road. She has a good soul. Not an easy sell.
Runs and drives great ! drive down the road 80 mph, car has always been on the road.
Front disc brakes, all brake lines and hoses have been replaced when disc brakes were installed.
Turbo 350 transmission is in good shape.
Original 283 V8 has been rebuilt somewhere along the line and runs very nice, does not smoke. 2 bbl carb is ok but this car should be upgraded to a 4 bbl.
This is an original V8 Biscayne, most Biscayne's were 6 cyl. Making it rare.
Racers loved the Biscayne because of it's lighter
chassis.
Bubble top without really being a bubble top, the last year G.M used real rear fins.
There is no rust under the fins.
Has original dealer tag on trunk lid, under the V8 emblem. Sold by M&O in Fayetteville North Carolina
Have original owners manual and some other purchase paperwork.
Car was born in Baltimore Maryland.
Wipers work, all lights work, directionals work, horn works, gauges work, gauge lights work, heat and defrost work, fuel gauge works, cd player is in glove box, speedo does not work. Original radio in dash, dashboard is unmolested.
Car does not leak water into interior.
Single exhaust is OK.
Car starts right up has HEI ignition and upgraded alternator.
Rear end is original and has no problems.
Headliner is in good shape and was replaced, rest of the original interior is shot.
All locks, windows and door handles work.
The chassis is clean, you can see the outer body rust.
The trunk is solid but has some small rust holes.
Floor pans need work.
The glass is all intact.
Overall a good riding solid car that's needs mostly cosmetic love.
