1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Description

Body Off Built Corvette Roadster Pro Touring Restomod EFI LS3 V8 5 Speed PS A/C /// As a professionally built custom that delivers on every level, this sweet Sting Ray is the kind of car you simply CAN'T ignore. It wraps a custom chassis, a modern transmission and 6.2 liters of Chevrolet Performance V8 in a tasteful restoration that oozes the style and class which made second-generation Corvettes the stuff of legend! Subjected to an 11-month, nut-and-bolt restoration, this C2... is fully sorted and ready to roll! That professional build, commissioned by an NCRS judge and completed by Factory Hot Rods of Cincinnati, Ohio, began with a full soda blast of the car's solid body. After that strip, acute reinforcements were added to abate typical C2 stress points. And slick Mercedes Palladium Silver 2-stage put the icing on the cake. Officially known as the Chevrolet Performance LS376/480, the car's new crate engine twists 10.7 to 1 compression into 495 horsepower and 473 lb./ft. of torque. Bottom-side, a custom Factory Hot Rods chassis that sports a spry sixth-generation Corvette Z06 suspension that's finished with Viking coil-overs. The stout LS3 twists an equally stout Tremec 5-speed. That transmission spins a billet-capped quick-change differential. Turns come courtesy of power rack-and-pinion steering. Smooth and solid stops are provided by sixth-generation Corvette Z06 brakes. And power meets the pavement through chromed Corvette ZR1 blades, which spin massive Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Slip in to this roadster's sublime, French-stitched cockpit and settle on tight leather buckets that were sourced from a late-model Corvette. A dual-cowl dash founds silver-face telemetry next to hidden air conditioning. A custom console frames a lengthened shifter. And a tilting column spins a billet steering wheel.
