1934 Chevrolet 3 Window Coupe Description

It's kind of odd to say that a Chevy of any kind is scarce, but compared to all the '34 Ford 3-window coupes out there, this stunning 1934 Chevy 3-window is definitely a rare find. With an aggressive yet clean look and high-end mechanicals underneath, this sleek rod is the antidote to all the "me too" Fords out there and delivers in a big, big way. First off, we believe it's an Outlaw fiberglass body, and that includes the modest top chop so the car has a very hot-rod-correct look. At a glance you can easily see that the work was very professionally done, and while the build has about 17,000 miles on it, it doesn't really show. The two-tone color combination accentuates the coupe's stance, with 2-stage urethane used for both the glossy black top and the pearl white lower areas. Overall, it's a look that makes this one stand out without shouting. The emblems, door handles, and other exterior trim was shaved, while a body-colored grille with stainless insert leads the way. Outlaw also supplied the fenders, running boards, and gas tank cover so it has a classic full-fendered look, which is enhanced by the big vintage-style headlights. Workmanship is outstanding, with tight fit to all the different panels, including the cool frenched license plate frame and smooth taillight lenses. A few red and orange pinstripes highlight the body's curves and the three-piece hood opens from either side, so service is easy. Custom tinted glass was fitted throughout due to the top chop and uses all new weather stripping so it seals up tight. The equally stunning interior uses a pair of leather-covered buckets to create an interior that's as expertly crafted as the exterior. Attractive custom door panels are an artistic blend of materials and style, including the billet handles and armrests, and it fits far better than most rods you see. The dash has been massaged and smoothed, with the center instrument panel holding a group of round analog gauges from Classic Instruments, and there's a powerful Vintage Air A/C system hanging underneath. Entertainment comes from a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo head unit, and the power window switches are neatly installed in the center of the dash. The tilt column is from Ididit and is topped by a billet steering wheel that works quite nicely with the black and bright interior combination. You also get a beautifully finished trunk with the same embossed design as the door panels and it offers plenty of room for all your gear on a road trip. But this is not just a pretty car, it's also a runner. The engine is a built 350 Chevy with an Edelbrock Performer intake and matching 4-barrel and a mild cam inside. It's neatly detailed with billet air cleaner and valve covers and chrome accessories, and while it's tucked down deep in the engine bay, it was clearly built to be seen. Underneath, a fabricated frame has been boxed and smoothed and fitted with rack-and-pinion steering and front disc brakes. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic and out back there's a Ford 9-inch hanging on a 4-link with coil-over shocks. Staggered US Mag wheels fill the fenders with 225/45/18 front and 295/40/20 rear performance radials. This lovely Chevy is a study in contradictions and is unusual for all the right reasons.
