The car was restored over 30 years ago by the previous owner, see photos.
I have owned the car for about 15 years. Always garaged, by previous owner as well 45+ years.
I installed a Turbo 400 transmission professionally built with Kevlar clutches and the best of everything about 10 years ago. (I owned a transmission shop at that time)
The motor was rebuilt in 2006. May have 400 miles on it since. In 2016 I pulled the motor to fix an oil leak, went through it, installed the new Lunati roller cam, roller tip rockers.
454 Big Block .060 over with a forged crank, new pistons, rings, roller cam and roller tip rockers. 396 “Bathtub” heads. MSD pointless distributor and coil. Replaced the troublesome resistor wire to the ignition with Chrysler style ceramic resistor.
Doug Myers (Local speed shop) did the valve complete job, bored and line honed it, installed new cam bearings and static balanced the rotating parts.
I added power CPP 4-wheel disc brakes, new master cylinder and break lines about 5 years ago.
Boss 18” staggered wheels, Good Year Eagle F1 tires P285/40ZR 18” on the rear and P245/45ZR 18” in the front (they look great rub the inner fender sometimes).
Dual stainless-steel exhaust about 4 years ago.
New battery, gear reduction starter and heavy duty cables this week.
New head liner last year.
The right rear quarter and right door were painted last year due to a scratch (not an accident carrying jack past car #*&%$#).
I have spare parts. Bumpers, most if not all the stainless trim, misc. interior parts. I have the SS dash gauge kit with a new lens, SS badges. I have full roller rockers and tall valve covers but you need to remove the HVAC fan housing to install. I believe I have most if not all the A/C parts the car is an A/C car.
Fire away with questions. As is often the case, I have many thousands more in the car than the asking price, C'est La vie.Don't need to sell, however I have a 70 Step side I would like to redo and I would like to stay married.
