1969 El Camino 396 4 speed
1969 Chevrolet El Camino Description
You are looking at a 1969 El Camino 396 4 speed with close to 70,000 miles on the chassis. The engine and trans are not original, the swap was done less than 5,000 miles ago. The engine runs great, fires right up and is currently tuned for daily driving. She has disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. The car stops great and doesn't pull to either side. This El Camino has next to no rust. The floor pans are solid. There is a quarter size rust spot on the driver side front finder and what looks like some bondo repair on the driver side rear quarter panel.
The Good -Fresh motor and TransNew alternatorNew ignitionNew fan and fan clutchNew batteryNew Holley carbNew Manual chokeNew master cylinderNew brake boosterNew suspension all around (front / rear springs and shocks. Air shock assists for the rear springs)New rear sway barNew 3 point retractable seat belts
The Bad -She will need a little body work and a nice paint jobGauges do no workHood does not allow the wipers to workThe tires that are on the car are to big and will rub
Overall this is a fantastic El Camino. I have her setup so you can jump in and drive. There is more power in the motor depending on how you want it. It is the perfect El Camino to make your own.
