1967 Chevrolet C10 Description

This is a truck done right. No drama, just results. It is a good solid truck, with all the right parts, put together with care. That is an easy thing to say, so to back up that claim we should mention that it brought home the Best Muscle Truck trophy at the Holley LS Fest 2016. Check it out. When you start with something as good looking and desirable as a '67 C10, you are kind of starting with an unfair advantage. Lower it down a bit and give it a nice aggressive stance and the look gets even better. Much of the rest of the look comes from leaving things off. No emblems or badges mess up the super clean look of this truck. Well,... there is one little Hurst Equipped sticker on the bottom left of the tailgate. But that's it! Red paint and shiny chrome are the stars of the show. Up front there is a simple rectangular grill of horizontal lines flanked by single headlights underlined by a wraparound chrome bumper. Out back a simple tailgate without brand lettering on it topped by a rollup tonneau cover. Under that cover is a bed that is ready for work with line-a-bed coating it. Big chrome Cruiser alloy wheels look awesome and really compliment the look of the truck. Open the door and you will find more of the simple and tasteful treatment. The door panel is black with vertical lines in vinyl on the top and black carpeting on the bottom. A beefy four-spoke Grant steering wheel in chrome and leather looks great and feels good in your hands. Just a flick of the wrist to the right of the wheel is a Hurst shifter for the 4-speed manual transmission, and behind it is a Sunpro column mounted tach. Behind that is a stock gauge cluster with super clean chrome bezels that shine bright. In the center console are the ventilation controls that include those for the air conditioning system to keep you cool on hot summer days, and below those are a trio of Sunpro auxiliary gauges to keep accurate track of critical engine functions. Comfortable Procar bucket seats are nicely upholstered with a big 'ol console between them providing lots of storage and fresh clean carpeting and headliner tie the look together nicely. Pop the hood and you will find a very healthy 383 Stroker motor nestled down in a very neat and clean engine bay. Topping the engine is a polished air filter housing with ribs that parallels the ribs on the slotted chrome valve covers. Under it is a Holley carburetor feeding into a Weiand intake. Chrome also appears on the pulleys and the alternator. Red dresses out the iron parts of the engine while and HEI ignition system uses red wires to get the spark to the plugs. Headers wind their way out the bottom to dual mufflers balanced with an H pipe and end by turning down just before the 3.08 posi 12 bolt rear end. Wilwood front disc brakes insure that you can haul this truck down from speed if you decide to cut that Stroker motor loose and the rubber meets the road through 275/45R20s in the back and 255/45R18s in the front mounted on those sweet Cruizer alloys. There are lots of build receipts that go with this truck, so be sure to ask your salesperson about them. But all you really need to know is that this truck is about results, not drama. Come on down and check it out for yourself.
