1985 Chevrolet Corvette Description

1985 low-mileage corvette.
I drove this car in the year 2003 to about 2007. After I moved to the bay area I no longer used this car as a daily driver and the car saw decreasing amounts of use. Over the last 10 years the car sat mostly idle. Having a car sit idle for such a long period of time is NOT good for a car and it now needs to be repaired to get it back into working condition. My best guess of what is wrong is that the gas tank needs to be cleaned/ and or replaced. I did buy a new gas tank and hired someone to install it but they backed out after they realized the effort needed to remove and replace the gas tank. It turns out that replacing the gas tank on this car is a really intensive job and requires the removal of the back section of the car and the person who buys this car should either be someone who is very advanced and ready to take on this project or know someone with experience doing this type of work.
To be clear: this car is not drivable. I believe this is caused primarily by the fuel delivery issue but I am not sure. The car turns over and will (usually : )start but is not stable when driving. If you live very close it might be possible to drive it back home but I wouldn't recommend it.
My mechanic replaced or addressed the following issues this summer:
-replaced pick up coil-replaced fuel pump-replaced two fuel injectors-replaced vehicle speed sensor and pigtail
Parts in possession but not installed:-new brake booster-new fuel tank
The car is located in Visalia, CA. If you are seriously interested in a project car (or would like the car for parts) please feel free to come by and take a look. I currently live in Washington, DC and unfortunately have no need for this car anymore. Hope to see it in good hands.
