1978 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 SILVAVADO Description

PLEASE read the entire ad, I MAY TRADE TOO ? Ok, what we have here is what i refer to as a GRANDPA SPECIAL, reason being ? the original owner was a 80+ year old perfectionist, when he 1st bought the truck, he put in the carpet/bed kit in the rear & a period correct aluminum camper shell, so the inside of the bed is like new!! Then he always had 2 sets of carpet mats{included} that he used to protect the inside, added a Realistic{Radio Shack} CB radio & matching after market cassette player to it, both still work !! Under the hood & behind the rear seat are locking tool boxes FILLED with spare/extra parts, belts, filters, first aid kit etc.. He pulled a travel trailer with his bride by his side, when they got tired, the bed in the back suited them perfectly, there are two sliding windows, that allow heat/a/c to keep you comfy, also she made side curtains for privacy. He at one point had the complete power train, 454 BIG BLOCK engine & transmission, rebuilt, no paper work on hand but it was & is obvious by looking at it & by driving it for sure!!The dmv in Utah & the dmv in AZ some where along the line marked the mileage on the title as box "c" i have a copy of both title transfers & can not figure out why ? Now lets skip forward to 4 years ago, the guy who was his best buddy, bought the truck & has continued the meticulous care & maintenance on it. He replaced the A/C system with a modern day R134 A system & put new Firestone tires on her. Now for the issues & the few that there are, are only cosmetic i assure you, there was something spilled on the hood & it left a etching if you will on it, paint is still shiny but has a edge like on it ? and then both of the bottom of the rear lower fenders have a small rust spot, seen in pictures, not a hard or expensive fix. also the passenger side carpet has a little wear, the lady had parkinson's & fidgeted her feet, the seat has a cover on it & i have not taken it off, so unknown condition, but very comfortable, also there is a 85 gallon fuel tank in the back with dual fill ups one on each side & also has 30 gallon factory side tanks all work & switch over perfectly. I would not hesitate to drive this beauty ANYWHERE right now !! I am open to possible TRADE ? I like old wagons, cars, trikes ? feel free to cal me Jeff at 602 448-1812, with trade ideas & or offers ?
