1970 Chevrolet Other Pickups Custom Camper Description

For Sale: 1970 Custom Camper Pickup Truck, sold by private owner (me!). Low starting price, no reserve, no games, no gimmicks; this truck will sell to the highest bidder!
This is the real deal: all purpose, heavy duty work truck; these trucks were made to work on the farm and to haul heavy loads. This is not a spit and polished, garage ornament. Body is solid, no significant rust. All of the mechanical components on this truck are new or recently rebuilt.
Less than 15,000 miles on the engine. Recently rebuilt top end (there was nothing wrong with it, I just wanted to install new headers and covers, so re-did the top end while it was apart), with less than 500 miles.
Interior floor is completely redone in black rubber: Spilled coffee? Dirty Boots? No Problem! I made it so that you can clean the interior with the brush of a whisk broom and wipe it down with a sponge! Non smoker, no smelly interior.
I'm technologically inept, but I think I figured out how to get videos of it running in the listing; if these links do not work, I will be happy to send you the videos:Truck Running from front

Cosmetically, there are a few minor issues; again, this is not a show truck. None of the cosmetics affect the integrity of the vehicle. The exterior is in good shape; the green paint is solid; the white paint is manageable and would benefit from a fresh coat to make her sparkle. This was/is used as a work truck, the bed has no major dents/dings, but you can see a few places where the bed covering is scratched up. There are a few paint chips; the most significant of which is above the passenger side front tire (my youngest scraped his bike along the paint). I have included the major blemish areas as close ups in the photos.
I have this vehicle listed for sale locally and reserve the right to end this auction if it sells locally.
Why am I selling this truck?
A question I have received from many interested parties is Why are you selling this truck? So to save myself from repeating, I'll state the answer here: I've had this truck for many years and used it as my work truck; she's done a great job at many job sites. Over this past year, I put a lot of time, money, and sweat equity into updating this vehicle with the intention of continuing to use it as my work truck. Unfortunately, I got injured falling off the scaffolding at a job site and I can no longer work on the job site. She's been sitting in my car port gathering dust and cat prints for a few months and I can stand to see her decay away; nor do I know when I'll be able to return to work: so I'm selling her.
Sale ConditionsI've done my best to honestly represent the condition of this vehicle; that being said, this sale is AS-IS, WHERE-IS, and HOW-IS with no warranty or guarantee implied. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
I would prefer to sell this vehicle as "pick-up" only, that would be the simplest method. However, I am willing to sell it to a buyer who arranges their own shipping. I will help coordinate and work with your shipper and will be happy to keep the truck here on my property, but I will have to limit the time after sale to shipping to at most 15 days post purchase.
Money StuffPlease ask any questions beforeyou bid -- your bid is a contract to buy, please keep this in mind when bidding.
Winning bidder is required to pay a $1,000 Deposit (via Pay Pal) within 48 hours of auction close. The balance can be paid in cash or cashiers check (if a cashiers check is used; the vehicle will be held until all funds clear)
Winning bidder has 7 days after auction close to pay the full amount for the vehicle.
I am committed to following the eBay sellers agreement I will not sell the vehicle to you outside of the auction, so please don't ask me to end the auction so you can "pay me on the side".
