1993 Chevrolet Blazer SPORT Description
PRIVATE SALE BY OWNER....
1993 Chevrolet full size Blazer SPORT 4x4
Low mileage (Almost exclusively summerdriven). 58,050 miles.
Authentic, genuine, certified.
Blazer is located in Calgary Alberta Canada (approximately 3 hours directly north of Montana). Ebay does not have provision for people with multiple residences.
Only 2 owners. We bought this as a future collectible. I looked at many before finding this particular one. I truly LOVE low mileage vehicles. These 2 full-size Blazers and 2-door Yukons are relatively easy to find in decent condition, but…. difficult in truly outstanding condition. This one only had one owner before us; an old widowed man who hadn’t used it in many years. It sat in his garage. This was the vehicle he and his late wife used for summer trips to hotels and resorts.
We have what started as a small and unintentional arrangement of classic cars. We also have a half-dozen or so SUV’s. The recent (and meteoric) rise in value of vintage 1970’s & 1980’s SUV’s meant to us that these semi-classics models will soon go up. We had no vision of selling this Blazer. It stayed while
I actively tried to get our smallish collection down to a more manageable size. Last week, my wife saw a 1990 ZR-1 (Corvette milestone) that she found simply-&-absolutely irresistible. Icouldn’t say“no” because a week before that, I came home with an undeniably amazing 1979 Bronco with an interesting history.
It's been stated that, UNRESTORED, LOW MILEAGE, ORIGINAL CARS ARE THE BENCHMARK IN AUTOMOTIVE COLLECTING.
UNRESERVED:Now, as stated, I am selling this absolutelyUNRESERVED. Starting price is 250 dollars. Asides from helping arrange your shipping, I have no time to take 99 more pictures, or have 2-hour long conversations. It's probably a misnomer to say I don't care about price, but I am knowingly sacrificing dollars to put more emphasis on a hassle-free and quick sale. This will be a great deal for someone,
as long as they are genuine and sincere. As such, I am not going to get into long drawn out discussions as to whether it's a 8.5/10 condition, or 9/10. Let's just call this a 1/10. Perspectives vary so, for ease of sale, please disregard everything else and assume this Blazer is an awful wreck salvage-value scrap project vehicle with worn out tires, poor exhaust, broken and missing pieces, and needing everything. My goal is to avoid insincere and zero-feedback bidders who will not follow through with their commitment. My goal is to find somebody genuine, who will really appreciate this Blazer, save some time this week during the sale, and devote more to helping the new owner afterwards with arranging their delivery.
Also, very important….review our feedback please. Each is for a 40+ year old car! You’ll see that getting every last dime of money isn't my objective. Money we have. We do not have time. Money usually comes relatively easy. Sometimes money goes easy too (lol), but... it can be replaced.
Time cannot.During our time on eBay, we've figured out a few things...
We learned that 2 very important things arecommunicationandprocedure. Our little procedure actually focuses on communication. It goes as follows:- After auction, we ask for your buyer's information.
- We fill in transfer papers and scan/send to you.
- You confirm spelling and information correct.
- You go to your bank, and send funds.
- We begin on shipping,
- ...keeping you informed every step..
- You receive your great Blazer,
- You leave us a fabulous feedback,
We're not interested in Paypal or deposits... If you want this Blazer, I'm sure you know the value of what you are looking at. You'll also probably want it enough to be sincere. Our procedure is simple. Besides 3 main things (information, payment, delivery), it focuses heavily on clear and concise back/forth volley of communication. That's important. I realize I'm somewhat the anti-salesman and have taken intentional strides to heavily under-represent this vehicle. That's fine. Of importance to us right now is a smooth sale to a genuine buyer. Somebody will get a heck of a deal.... If you are bidding, please be serious as I am and understand our adherence to this little system/procedure. It's to help both of us. If, for any reason, you cannot adhere to this procedure, please let us know BEFORE BIDDING. OR,....IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK OR ARE NEW TO EBAY YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING.
Otherwise, I will cancel your bid.
If you don't want to potentially risk losing out, and would like to take another route by MAKING AN OFFER, please contact me.
Most of our auctions have in fact actually ended with me accepting an offer. I always appreciate the early-bird approach.
DELIVERY:...to most states and destinations is in the $1500+ range. Please keep that in mind. Budget for at least this amount. Texas and Florida, and other far southeastern states, are obviously a bit more at minimum $2250-ish. Any required inspections, certifications, registrations, paperwork, or anything else are the buyer's responsibility. I don't know the rules in each particular state so, am selling as per Alberta rules. My wife has become pretty good at setting up shipping and, is happy to assist. Rest is up to you. Payment is by bank transfer, US account to US account. As stated, I don't ask for Paypal. Once payment is received, everything else is ready to proceed from there.
CALLS:If you'd like to speak over the phone, I'm happy to hear from you. Please write and we'll make arrangements.
If you are fromEUROPE,please know we have shipped there many times. We are happy to assist. This Blazer would be perfect for a EUROPEAN sale because it requires nothing physically or mechanically. It is in top-notch condition, VERY LOW MILEAGE and should easily provide years of hastle-free enjoyment. Forget ordering parts or dealing with any restorations (or poorly done restorations). Perfect originals are THE WAY TO GO. Since beginning to narrow down ourinadvertent collection a couple years ago, we've sold to England, France, Germany, Holland, Slovenia, as well as theMiddle East and New Zealand.
Now that I added everything I can think of, I'll say..... I truly hate selling our beautiful Blazer. I know it must sound terribly cliche but, something’s got to give. I’m selling this unreserved and hoping for a quick painless sale; much like yanking off a band-aid. Soon as I press the“submit listing” button, there’s no turning back.
With that said, here goes…..
