1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS CONVERTIBLE Description

Looking for a neat wintertime builder/Christmas present to treat yourself or a loved one to? Consider this 1964 Chevrolet Malibu SS Convertible project stored away many years, Old school 327ci/4bbl engine w/300hp double hump heads, Vintage Weiand aluminum intake and Moroso valve covers, Holley carburetor, Headers w/dual exhaust, HEI distributor, (Engine was cranked however the carburetor is leaking fuel and will need repaired or replaced) Weld wheels, Turbo 350 transmission (I was told this is a factory 4 speed car and have the correct console top however I am not 100% sure of this information), The trim tag on this car does not reference this information for an automatic or a 4 speed, Bucketseats, Console w/floorshift, Factory paint code 9121 = Medium blue w/white convertible top, Repainted white many years ago, Interior trim code 741 = Medium metallic blue Imitation leather, Needs restoration but very worthy of it as there were only 9559 of these 64 Chevelle SS convertible's built, Floorpans and trunkpan need repair or replacing (see pics), Some rust in the hood, fenders, underneath trunklid and quarterpanels very repairable or replaceable, Nothing a skilled bodyman can't handle, Southern car it's entire life, This is not rust from salty roads or climates more so from water/moisture through the years (55 years old), Frame is solid, Convertible top frame manually works up and down fine, Needs new convertible top material, Windshield is cracked, Factory firewall seam needs recaulking/seem sealed, Overall a neat father/son/daughter wintertime toy to restore back as original? Resto-mod? LS swap? Hotrod? Racecar?
