1967 Chevrolet Camaro Description

Up for sale is a 1967 (FIRST YEAR!) Chevrolet Camaro Coupe PROJECT CAR.

Originally a 6 cyl/ Manual transmission car. Currently there is NO drive-train with the car EXCEPT a 4 spd. Saginaw transmission which will need to be gone through.

As you can see, some work has been started, but plan on fixing every part of the car. The car is dissembled and mounted on a custom-made rolling jig that will come with the car.

The car comes with many parts but is FAR from complete and I do not claim to have or include all the parts needed to complete.

New parts installed and welded in place include inner driver side rocker panel, outer driver side rocker panel, and upper cowl assembly. The new upper dash panel shown in the pictures is mocked in place but NOT welded.

New parts included are a complete heater-delete firewall/toe board assembly, driver side inner rear wheel house, passenger side inner rear wheel house, rear left and right floor plans and front header panel.

The sub-frame has been media blasted, the usual spots repaired, primed and painted.

The doors are solid but are completely gutted, although have external handles and latch mechanism installed. The internals and glass would need to be gone through before reinstalling. A 4 spd. Saginaw transmission (will need inspection) and crusty but complete original 10 bolt rear also included. I have a clean right front fender, a usable (rough) hood, 4 Rally wheels (including center caps and trim rings) mounted on a set of older dry rotted tires. I have many miscellaneous interior pieces including the original gauge cluster, sun visors, rear view mirror, and some switches and dials from the dash board. I have many other miscellaneous trim, interior, and exterior pieces. These will all come with the car in tubs. I am also including a set of reproduction GM shop manuals.

The car may not look like much, but a lot of money, time, and effort was put into getting the car into a stable place to be able to do all the work needed to it, and with the rising value of classic muscle cars this car has potential!!

Although I’ve done my best to describe the car, I STRONGLY recommend that you to personally inspect it before you bid so there are no surprises on your part.
