History & Documentation
This Truckwas purchased new from Desert GMC in Las Vegas, NV for $15,850 in October, 1986 (Original Purchase Order on file). It had spent its’ entire life in the dry climate of Las Vegas, with three (3) documented owners in 30+ years. I purchased it in 2018, and personally drove it cross-country from Las Vegas in July, to my Residence in Sarasota, Fl.
Upon purchase by the 2ndLas Vegas Owner in April, 2007, the Truck was repainted Dark Blue Metallic at a cost of $7,500 (Invoice on File). In December, 2007, a new GM Performance Fuel Injected Ramjet 350 was purchased, with a newly-remanufactured 700R4 Transmission; both professionally installed by Pat Clark GMC of Las Vegas. The simultaneous conversion of Drum to Disc Brakes was also completed; fully-documented cost of $14,889 (Parts & Labor Invoices on file). It has since been driven a modest documented 10,500 Miles, inclusive of the July cross-country trip.
After acquired by the 3rdLas Vegas Owner in August, 2015, it has undergone a complete exterior & interior restoration, between July, 2016 & March, 2017, at a fully-documented cost of $20,941 (all Parts & Labor Invoices on file). This included the purchase & professional installation of complete CPP Suspension Upgrades, TMI Custom Interior, installation of One-Piece Tinted Windows, installation of New Oak Wood Bed w/ Chrome Strips, new staggered 18” Front / 20” Rear Ridler Chrome Wheels on Nitto 255 / 50R18 Front & 285 /50 R20 Rear Tires (Classic & Perfect Stance), Matching Blue-Lighted Dakota Digital Gauges, LMC Front Bumper w Integrated Lights, & Billet Grill.
The all-original metal panel, rust-free body was stripped to bare metal, professional prepped to insure a laser straight finish with perfect door / hood / tailgate gaps, & painted with a two stage Deep Blue Metallic Show - Quality Paint & Clear-Coated.
It has since continued to be an adult-owned, no-expense sparedWeekend Cruiser. It has sat under a cover in a climate-controlled garage on a CTEK 4.3 Battery Charger when not in use. Again, every receiptfor everything herein outlined, from thePurchase Order to the Show-Quality Paint, is on file, as detailed above.
