1966 ChevelleRestoMod $36,000
OVERVIEW
This Chevelle was purchased new in Southern New Mexico and was relocated to southern Arizona were I purchased the car in 2000. For the next 10 years this car was restored from the frame up. I would only proceed to the next stage when the restoration on the current phase was finished using the best materials and workmanship available.
I enjoyed doing this restoration and even got more pleasure from driving it. The car has all the power you could want and under acceleration there is enough traction to keep the car tracking straight.
You can be a proud owner of a very well done 1966 resto mod.

DISCLOSURE
The Demon carb supplies the engine with all the fuel and air it can handle in the power band. The engine is rough idle under 1000RPM. A conversion to fuel injection would be a welcome improvement for rough idle.
The front and rear bumpers are original equipment and in good shape but a restoration is needed.
The Vintage Air is not capable of keeping the car cool in the Arizona summers. The system is fully installed and functional, but I have not replaced the refrigerant
The windshield wipers were removed and the holes filled and painted.
