1953 Chevy 3100 Custom Twin Turbo Shop Truck Rat Rod Hot Rod
1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description
Up for auction is a 1953 Twin Turbo Shop truck. This truck was built to be a hardcore driver with a ton of horsepower. The truck started as an original field find truck here in Arizona. Chassis work started up front with a Mustang II front end with tubular control arms and boxed frame. Power rack with air ride and Wilwood disc brakes. The rear of the truck was treated to a notched and boxed frame with a triangulated four link, air ride, custom fabricated big bearing Ford 9" with 31 spline Currie axles, 3.89 posi gear ratio and disc brakes. the air ride and the fuel cell are all located in the very back of the truck for weight distribution and traction. Brand new 20" Foose wheels with 10.5" wide tires for maximum traction. Motor is a 4 bolt Chevy 350, 9 to 1 compression with Dart heads, large cam, twin t3/t4 hybrid turbos, blow through Quick fuel carb, Snow water methanol injection kit that is tuned to turn on at 4 pounds of boost, backed up by a TCI Super Streetfighter 700r4 with a 3000 stall convertor. The truck was treated to a new wiring harness, new chrome tilt column, dolphin gauges, separate tach, boost gauge, and A/F ratio gauge. The seat was recovered with new vinyl, new headliner, new door cards, new window regulators, new windshield and gasket, new rear glass with gaskets. The door glass is not in the truck. I was going to do a one piece glass swap but never completed. I do have the original vent and glass assemblies. The truck is made to be a driver and go fast. The truck is currently tuned on 10 lbs of boost at 5000' in elevation. this is a very nice driving truck. It idles well and is very reliable and then becomes a complete animal once it gets in to boost. This truck makes close to 700 horsepower on 10 lbs with the water methanol injection. There has been less than 1300 miles on this truck since it was assemble with all brand new parts. There is nearly 25k in parts alone at wholesale cost and 15000 in labor. I have receipts for everything in the truck and all the work that was done. This is not a show truck and you wont be afraid to smoke the tires off of it and drive it like it needs to be driven. It has a one of a kind patina that took 50+ years to achieve. This truck will smoke the tires when it gets in to full boost around 30 mph until you let off. It makes much more power than you can plant to the ground. All the hardwork like the tuning is done and this truck is turnkey and ready to drive. If you stay out of boost it drives very very nice and runs just like a normal truck. This truck is a steal at the starting auction price. You can buy a simple S10 swap small black for 20k or get something that nobody else has and is one of a kind for the same price. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up and an immediate non refundable deposit of $500 is due at the end of the auction and final payment is due within 7 days by either cash or wire transfer. The truck is for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction early if sold. There is a full set of build pics on the Likuid Kreations Facebook page if you want more pics. I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have and give anyone a ride that shows up to look at the truck. It is really hard to explain this truck and the power without seeing it in person. Just took the truck out for a drive today and have link to a little video. I will have a walk around video posted soon as well to show the truck in more detail.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CndPCHuHSos
