Up for sale is a 1963 Chevy C-10 Short Wheel Base Fleet Side truck. It also has the large Rear Window which is more coveted and a preferred upgrade over the smaller window on this particular truck.This truck has been restored and is always a huge attention grabber wherever it is driven. The truck resides in New Braunfel, Texas where it has been located since it was purchased in Amarill, Texas. It being located in the South in Texas means you will find this truck to be nearly completely rust free. The truck runs, drives,looks and performs Excellent in every way. This truck is equipped with with the “Run Forever” Straight six 250 Engine which was a very common engine during this era.. It is paired with a three speed column shift Transmission. You will always be comfortable with the ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING. The truck is complete with drum brakes that also complimented this truck originally. This truck has nice chrome high gloss dome nostalgic wheels and nice road worthy tires to compliment them. It also has a nice Vintage Retro LED Stereo With Speakers and a nice quality sound packed into an original state stereo appearance. Much care was taken with many hours of meticulous routine maintenanc, procedur, and restoration to maintain the fluid, smooth drive of this truck.This truck is complete and drives well enough to be a comfortable on longer trips. A bit about the exterior....New wood was ordered, treated and layed for the bed and a nice natural finish was applied with an antique appearance in mind. On the interior, the instrument panel and cluster are of a high gloss custom shape and finish. The seats were professionally installed. The upholstery is a bit newer and gives the truck a more classic-vintage nostalgic lik, yet modern and completed appearance. Metallic Molded accents were added to the door panels for a more retro / modern look as well. The exterior paint is very nice as well. The deep High Gloss Silver Metallic finish compliments this truck nicely. The paint with clear reflects a nice wet glass like appearance. I give the paint job a very conservative 6.5/10.....(for a closer view—please view the “”easy access video links”” BELOW ) Again I state conservative. Now, 95% of your onlookers will honestly look at this truck and say, “Oh, What a beautiful truck with an excellent paint job!” Us collectors and heavy critics will say it is nice with a few flaws. From front to back and from panel to panel, one will be very impressed with the classic aestetic, contours, and lines of this truck.
