1972 Chevrolet Nova Description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE CONTACTING/BIDDING/BUYING! THIS IS A NON-RUNNING, PROJECT CAR + PARTS. SOLD AS-IS, AND WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OUT (YOUR RESPONSIBILITY).
IF PURCHASING WITHOUT MEETING FIRST, PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS (CASH, MONEY ORDER, OR CASHIER'S/BANK CHECK ONLY). DO NOT CLICK "BUY" IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO PAY ME THE FULL VALUE OF THE CAR.

I bought this car in March of 2018, partially “restored”. He had freshened the interior, dropped in a new motor, and installed a saginaw 4 speed explosion-box. I do not know the prior history. I was told from the seller that it was originally a 307/auto car (NOT AN SS), and that it was green. That’s all I know.

I boughtall of the parts in April and then began doing my own work, with the intention of making this a mild street/strip car. Over the summer, priorities have changed. I began working more, and have not had the time that I need to finish the car. Me and my wonderful lady would also like to buy a house relatively soon, so I am doing all I can do to scrape together a down payment.

This is the absolute last thing I want to part with, but it would put us at our goal faster and that means more to me at this point than this car. If I finish the car, I will not want to sell it. At this price I am even taking a small loss, which is OK if it means getting into our house.

As I said, im taking a loss as it is. I’ve spent nearly $5k in parts alone that are all still brand new and unused. Like I said, I bought everything I need to “finish” the car and just haven’t gotten around to it. Barring some small things I probably forgot, you should have everything you need to make this thing run.

THERE IS NO TRANS IN THE CAR, DOESN’T DRIVE AND DOESN’T START. Ran and drove 60ish miles home when I bought it relatively well.

The Details:
-Year One 350 crate engine. Dyno sheet (see photos) claims ~420hp at the crank. Was told there is less than 500mi on it from the owner who installed it. Other than driving it home, I have not put any more miles on it
-TCI th350 Super Streetfighter Trans w/ TCI converter (~3200 stall). Not installed, new in box
-Hooker headers freshly repainted into NEW IN BOX Glasspack header mufflers (not installed)
-Jegs 15” Alloys w/ Mickey Thompson ET Street SS Drag Radials (255s) rear, BFG Radials Front
-Stock 10 bolt rearend w/ 3.08s. Have mini spool that is not installed
-Cowl Hood (steel)
-Disc drake conversion up front, unsure of the brand, not power brakes
-Power Steering
-Mostly complete interior, disassembled parts to repair the floors (seats, carpet, some trim are out)
-Also includes everything else to make it run, trans fluid, trans cooler, TV cable, hurst quarter stick shifter, hardware, gauges, flex plate, etc. Hundreds of dollars of little stuff all brand new and never installed.
-Very little rust, some floor pan issues (see below). Trunk is new. Panels are very straight
-Current Antique PA Plates, will not pass emissions/inspection

Known Issues:
-Carb needs tuning, I would probably just swap it. Edlebrock crap
-Power steering pump leaks. Likely needs to be replaced
-Floor needs repairing. I am about 90% done on the passenger’s side. Driver’s side floor pan and trans tunnel needs patching from rust and a less than perfect 4spd swap. Other than that, floors are solid. I have the replacement floor pans
-As stated, will need to be towed out and doesn’t start, run, or drive

Parts Included NOT INSTALLED in the car (brand new):

-TCI TH350 Super Streetfighter Trans
-TCI Streetfighter Torque Converter
-TCI Trans fluid
-SFI Approved Flexplate
-Various Hardware (mostly ARP)
-Hurst Quarterstick Shifter w/ Cover
-Jegs Billet TV Cable
-Jegs Oil Pressure/Temp/Volts Gauge Cluster
-Cherry Bomb Glasspack Header Mufflers
-QP Mini Spool

Other Parts (Used):

-Driver/Passenger Seats
-Floor Pans
-Interior Trim
-Hooker Comp Headers
