This is a highly detailed and modified Truck. Owned by the proprietor of a Rod and Restoration Shop, this truck was built and is maintained to the highest of standards. The body has been carefully massaged to incorporate very subtle modifications to enhance its overall look. The parking lights were moved and molded into the bumper, the Grill incorporates aluminum veins instead of the stock look and all of the chrome was tastefully removed including the door handles. The air brush art along the sides accents the lineage to the iconic ’57 Chevy. The fiberglass bed cover adds to the sleekness of the bed along with the rolled plan and molded taillights. Overall the body and paint on this truck is near perfect and is attested to by the number of awards and trophies received in local car shows. As magnificent as the body is, the engine and drive train are equal, if not, more impressive. Beginning with a big block engine bored to 468 CI mated to a modified TH400 and coupled to a Ford 9” rear end. The engine has a Comp Roller Cam, Stud Girdle, March Serpentine system and a Quick Fuel 850 Carburetor all accented by billet valve covers and air cleaner. For added fun the ceramic coated headers and tuned exhaust has a pair of electric cutouts to allow everyone in earshot to hear the big block sing. The engine’s big cam requires an auxiliary vacuum pump with storage tank to make the 4-wheel Wilwood Power disk brakes work flawlessly. Added to this combination is a Chris Alston 4-link rear suspension, a Chevelle front clip with tubular A-arms and coil over suspension. The seller is looking to start a new project so the buy it now price is lower than any comparable truck on ebay for a quick sale. I encourage buyers or their representatives to come look at this car; you will not be disappointed. If you come, see and drive it, YOU WILL TAKE IT HOME!
