This is a stunning example of a 1926 Chevrolet 1 ton truck in the true form in which it came from the factory, along with the after purchase cab and chassis. The truck has been preserved in its original condition over the past 92 years. The exterior wood, wheels and fenders, hardware and nuts and bolts all seem to be original. The tires and tubes have been replaced with brand new ones. All the glass is period-correct. The original vinyl roof looks to have been replaced at one time with original type "cobra" grain material. The interior also retains all of the original wood, steering wheel, all gauges, pedals, windshield wiper, gas tank under seat and tilt windshield. The seat has been reupholstered but maintains its original spring base. Equipped with the original 171 cid 4 cylinder engine and floor shifted 3-speed manual transmission, The motor does not run, but I have a nice running 1927 motor and transmission to replace the other which goes with the sale. The Paint and undercarriage have been preserved as nice as the rest of the truck. There are a few dents, etc., but there is no rust on the truck. Sold with “Bill of Sale” only.
