1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Description

1969 Camaro convertible RS/SS that's been through a complete professional rotisserie restoration. Laser straight profile with five coats of Dupont Cortez Silver and Tuxedo black rally stripes, sealed in four layers of clearcoat. Under the cowl induction hood you will find a period correct 396 big block tuned to 425 horsepower. Below the Holley carb, a sea of brilliant Chevy orange paint coats the block from its big aluminum intake all the way to its stamped steel oil pan. At the back of that intake, a familiar HEI distributor shoots spark through eight premium Taylor cables. Below those cables, chrome Chevrolet branded valve covers perfectly complement coated, long-tube headers. In front of those valve covers is a VIPS serpentine system spinning a chrome water pump behind a chrome alternator, a chrome AC compressor and polished power steering pump. Chrome brake booster, billet hood supports and chrome fender braces. The Muncie 4-speed has been replaced with a Borg Warner 5-speed. That 5-speed spins a chrome-capped Moser 12 bolt, which is complete with big 3.73 gears and posi-traction differential. This rock solid drivetrain hangs in tubular control arm/traditional leaf spring suspension. At the front of the car is the addition of modern power steering. At the corners are Wilwood power disc brakes. Exhaust flows from the long-tube headers into stainless, true-dual pipes that employ welded mufflers, an H-shaped crossover and polished stainless turndowns. Power meets the pavement through mirrored 17" American Racing Torq Thrust IIs, which spin 215/50 Mohawk Predators in front of 245/45 Predators. Also comes with complete set of SS wheels and BF Goodrich T/A Radials. The Satin black floor has been layered in thick weather resistant undercoating, featuring Hotchkis subframe connectors a stainless fuel tank and a full array of stainless hardware. Inside this classic you will find a fully restored black Houndstooth interior, Vintage Air climate controls, Hurst shifter behind Equus mechanical accessory gauges. New carpet, chrome trimmed foot pedals and Kenwood kick speakers. Deluxe door panels and power windows. A leather wrapped polished tilt steering wheel. Black convertible boot cover and California car cover. This 1969 RS/SS convertible is absolutely stunning and sounds even better. Come take a look and I'm sure you will be pleased.
