1970 Marlboro Maroon Corvette LS5 Coupe.Beautifully restored big block Coupe.Marlboro Maroon w/Saddle interior, 454/390hp, 3-speed automatic transmission. As some car fanatics might know, there was a dock strike in ’69. Because of this many of the parts that went into and onto a Corvette were held up. So, John DeLorean, then Vice President of GM decided to extend production of the ’69 model run four months longer than usual. This meant that the production of the ’70 models was cut short....As a result, only 17,316 were built. The shortest production run since ’62!This beautifully restored ’70 looks very sharp in its Marlboro Maroon exterior and Saddle interior. The car is optioned with a matching #’s LS5 454/390hp big block, Turbo 400 automatic transmission, power brakes, power steering, tilt/tele steering column, AM/FM radio and more. It’s also nicely documented with the Owner’s Kit, Tank Sticker, and Protect-O-Plate.
