1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Description

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with it's Olympic Gold paint, black interior, M20 4-speed, original "born with" drivetrain, and Jerry MacNeish Certification is up for sale here for the first time in years.

Mileage shows 2779 miles. We do not know if this is original miles as this was ordered as a Radio-Delete Z28 with 4:11 gears, so more than likely it was used as a Drag Car, hence the low milage? It rides and handles as it did when new and no rattles or body sounds as a low mileage Z28 should!

The Z28 had some paint touched up at a restoration shop in New York when it was purchased in 2010 and also had Power Steering, vacuum booster for the brakes, 3;55 rear axle replacing the 4:11 factory gears, and a radio added for drivability and comfort. All stock parts were kept and could be put back on.

While there were 243,000 Camaros produced for the extended 1969 model year, only 20,302 were Z/28s. The first-generation Camaro Z/28s are among the most collectible and sought-after Camaros ever produced. It has been authenticated, certified and inspected by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro High Performance, Inc., and it also retains its original trim plate.

This 1969 Camaro, vin #124379N588812 has been certified by Camaro Hi-Performance. According to our data base and historical Chevrolet records, this car is an original Z28 302-290 horsepower V-8 with Muncie M20 4-speed transmission and factory 12-bolt rear axle.

This Z28 Camaro coupe and drivetrain have been certified as real and authentic. The exterior and interior colors are original and correct for this vehicle and match the trim identification tag on the firewall.

Summary; very nice Z28 that has been restored and is on the way to being completed.

The radio under the dash was added at a later date at a muscle car restoration shop.

Original inspection date: 8-30-06, cert #0277.
