1964 Chevrolet Impala removed Description

1964 Chevy Belair 2 door post sedan
The car is mostly stock & original, it has been in my possession for several years
and has had a few improvements along the way,
but i am over my budget now & i honestly have other priorities ahead.
It has a nicely rebuilt 327 & turbo 350 transmission with a little shift kit that chirps the tires. Has had several suspensions parts replaced & front power disc brake installed.Newer starter, battery, black edelbrock carb & champion radiator, motor still runs coil / points distrib.

Has flow masters & headers that are intended to turn out under the front doors but currently has a simple dual exhaust set up that exits / turns out just before rear tires.Rear is a posi with unknown ratio but more so highway gears at at 55/60 mph is just around 2100 rpm.
Car was painted many years ago, it looks old & it wasnt a high quality job but looks very much like an old 409 barn find.Interior is stock except for early Gm buckets, gauges, floor shifter & console just temporary installed for mockup.Heater & lights are is functional & most everything "works just fine" for a 50yr old car.

It currently has 15 x 6 American racing wheels on the front with - 215 / 65 tires& chrome 15 x 8 rally wheels with brand new 275/60/15 rubber on the back, white letters facing in.
I also have 2 brand new 15 x 8 chrome rallys for the front with also matching brand new 235/60/15 tiresalso comes with 4 baby moon & 4 disc brake / flag center caps

The body has had most of the emblems removed & is very straight aside from some basic stuff...like scratches marks & small dings, it is not perfect & has some surface
& basic non life threatening rust spots underneath but nothing extraordinary.
The floor & trunk is clean as well but a previous owner who did the body work / paint
also made the wood spare tire cover thing that folds up,
its functional so i left it to cover some parts / tools but may repaint the whole truck GM speckle grey at some point.
Also underneath the hood on the lip behind the emblem it was fiberglassed / fixed,as well as a small "strip" in the top part of the trunk under the rear deck.
it is, imperfect to say the least, but it all works just fine.

It is a very, very cool classic muscle car hot rod, but also a running & driving project.
While i have done much to get it to this point i still have a list of to-do's:
Needs: windshield wiper, dash speedo light & interior light hooked up, cigarette lighter also, they all work.
Its missing sunvisors, needs a radio setup & rear deck cover. The horn button broke,
The tach works, the triple gauges need a revamp, oil def works, shift light is for show. The dash & drivers seat is imperfect, kik panels too, & the drivers side valve cover leaks.
I have another billet pair that matches the billet air cleaner & matching billet wire looms as well to go on.
The rear deck cover shown is a simple template to make another proper one if & when i have time. All the glass is good but the drivers side mini window just cracked last week outta nowhere. The starter is 2 months old, but needs to be shimmed, one of my passenger tail lights is loose.
& theres a new exhaust rattle somewhere on the drivers side (clamp?)
(as of today when the photos were taken).
Honestly i only drove this car only about 2500 miles in the past couple years during the summer,
mostly to shows & local hangouts within 250 miles round trip, before my surgery last year.
Sadly where i live i am not allowed to wash cars, & while i do keep it in my garage underneath a cover, its needs detailing, it sits for weeks at a time since then occasionally, and as such its a lil dusty & dirty, the interior needs to be gone over, rug redone or replaced & stereo system hooked up & cleaned up nice.

please understand:
This car is a project/ driver. Its quick sure, runs mint, drives & stops excellent & runs cool on hot days.
I am currently driving it here & there & to some local shows on the wknds if weather permits.
Its is awesome & gets constant conversations, offers & attention anywhere i go.If constant honks & thumbs up bug you, It can be annoying.
I am motivated to sell, & negotiable, yes,
~but~
please search other similar cars before you make any offers,im into this gangster beauty for just over 10 grand now so,please do not insult me with a 5k offer, every wknd someone does that, looking to flip it& truthfully, thats what the motor & tranny cost. Decent body / chassis + parts & labor = ?Im not looking to make a profit, just recoup some of my investmentplease take that into consideration

A proper offer will get a proper response
& for the right offer, i might drive or trailer it to you

~a basic rusted out rat rod roller this is not. Its not a drag car either, just a simple cool old cruiser that still begs to be driven.

Everyone has their own opinions but most usually tell me,"its a super cool classic, I wouldn't change a thing"
have current registration in my name
