This is an ideal restoration project for a Corvette or car enthusiast. It has what is believed to be the original 327/340 HP, 4 speed Borg Warner T10 transmission, and positraction rear axle. The car runs and drives but needs the brakes to be redone due to sitting for many years. Based on discussions with a family member, it is a 2 owner car and the second owner had it from 1977 until 2017 when he passed away. The Indiana title states actual mileage of 59,989, and the family thought it was correct. The interior is dark blue vinyl and is very original including carpet and door panels. The windows roll up and down easily. The speedometer, tachometer, and gages appear original. The original AM radio is also still in place. The straight body looks good, and the panels line up nicely. The original dimple on the driver’s side gutter is very visible in the pictures. The hood is an original 1963 and lines up very well between the fenders, it will require some repair work and new hood grills. This is an ideal car for a restoration and due to the fact it is a 340HP engine, when completed it will have a higher value. All of the pieces required to complete the restoration are included except the hood grills. The front bumpers and brackets can be seen in the pictures. The frame is solid and straight. It has some typical surface rust but it will look great after it is stripped and cleaned or sandblasted and repainted. The original underside white fiberglass looks excellent and it will clean up very easily. The chrome and stainless are in good condition, and the vent window posts chrome are not even pitted.
