We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer's Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it'sthe buyer's responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can't make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer's responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 970-300-1020. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
Thank you for looking at our clean 1949 Chevy 2-door Deluxe. This is an unbelievably clean automobile. I'd like to mention in the beginning of the ad that there are 234 more photos in the Flickr on the bottom of the ad to be viewed. This car was sold about 4 years ago on eBay for approximately $12K or $13K. I purchased the car from that buyer and since then I went through the whole car mechanically, lights and everything else it takes to make the car drive 100%, even though the car was drivable when I bought it. I also purchased a pair of sill plates, two side view mirrors, new mats and some other minor stuff to bring the car up to its present condition. It also has the hood that goes over the front windshield that is in the trunk.
I never put it on but I got brand new brackets with nuts and bolts if the new owner wants to use them, because they are part of the car. I had this car in my garage over the winter, and started it up every month or two. And all I had to do was pump the gas a few times, pull the choke out, turn the car on "on", and push the starter button and it started immediately every time I tried to start it over the winter. My wife and daughter want to ride around in a car with air conditioning, otherwise I'd keep this car. This car drives on the freeway 60, 65, and 70 MPH, like a dream. It keeps up with all road traffic.
If you buy it and decide to drive it home, I'm sure it would be a lot of fun. I'm selling this car for my personal collection, and one lucky winner will definitely get a great car to drive this summer. It never had a radio, but it has a place for the speaker. As you see in all the pictures, the body on it is absolutely beautiful, and I just had it professionally buffed and waxed. The interior of the car, when I bought it, looked exactly the same as you see it today, and the four tires on the car are like new. For a 70 year old car that's all original, where would you find a nicer one?
