We discovered the car in an Illinois Garage, where it remained dormant for over 30 years.The original owner had passed away and it was not driven for many years.The grandchildren recall this car from years back, and said that their grandfather never repainted the car, and also believed the tires to be original.The body shows no evidence of a repaint, the fiberglass is present and bare under the wear spots on in the paint, no evidence of other colors, or overspray are there.Leading me to be pretty confident that this is an original paint No hit car.
The engine in it now is a replacement with a vintage offenhauser intake and Tri-carb setup. However the original owner was wise enough to keep the original block which will be included in the sale.
the birdcage looks good, the outer frame rail on the drivers side rear suffers some rust, it is not catastrophic, but it is present and will need to be addressed.
The spare tire and lug wrench is present,
