1985 "Rust Free" V8 S10 Pro Street set up. Yes, I said rust free!! Very clean truck, underneath and inside. Floor panels are perfect, no rust!!This truck was a drag truck most of its life, I made it road worthy as possible to enjoy it. No roll bar. No heater, no Air conditioning, roll down the window listen to the sound! Bucket seats, with fire extinguisher. Seat belt installed for driver. Engine is Chevy 350 4 bolt, bored 30 over. New Holley 650, new vortec heads, new water pump, new electronic Jegs distributor, new mechanical fuel pump. New plug wires, insulated headers, large aluminum radiator with two electronic fans. Brakes are a new Wilwood master cylinder and stock front disc and aftermarket rear disc brakes. New brake line to the rear, using stainless flex hoses to the wheel cylinders. Front lines are flexible stainless line also. Master cylinder has Wilwood proportioning valve for the rear brakes .Fuel cell is mounted in the bed. The battery was moved back to the engine compartment from the bed. New remote transmission oil cooler installed under the bed in the area of the right rear tire. The dash was installed with aluminum panel to support the new tach, electronic speedometer, oil and fuel gauges. Door panels were painted black at one point and show wear. The dash has some small holes from mounting the original tach and shift light. The floor is bare, rust free with insulation installed, no carpet yet. Access panels cut to allow access to Trans bolts. The Trans is TH350 with safety bell housing installed. The Trans has a small drip I refuse to fix, just too damn old and broken down to crawl under this truck anymore! This is ladder bar set up complete back half, Ford 9" rear end housing with new 3rd member supporting new 4-11 gear ration and bearings. This truck is completely tubbed out with the rear tires being Sportsman pro on used Weld wheels. Tire size on rear is 31" X 16.5" X15”. One Axil was replaced that showed stress from the racing days. I have gone through the front end replacing "all”, and have a fresh alignment on 3/22/2019. New ball joints top bottom, tie rod ends inner and outer, new lower control arms. New shocks and I installed power steering. I think I have replaced about everything!! The front rims are aluminum Jegs rime with Mickey Thompson skinny tire, 26" X 7.5" X 15”.The tailgate was removed and all molded into the sides of the truck, looks awesome. The brake lights are from a Corvette. Looks good. I cleaned up the wiring harness best I could, fused the dash board items and removed concerns I could find. I was going to buy a new harness from Painless but gave up on the truck. The truck is very Yellow!! Wow!! The doors had shaved handles and were replace with original doors with handles and locks, but they did not match the paint very good on the door to the rest of the body, but it will get you by. The ignition key only unlocks the stock column, the truck power and starter are off dash buttons. The doors are lockable. There are so many new items on this truck, I am going to lose my butt for sure. This truck is going to make someone a sleeper, and very quick toy. I do see a crack in the windshield.
