1969 Chevrolet Chevelle~~~~True Super Sport~~~~
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Description
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. This Chevelle has a factory paint code "76" Daytona Yellow, which was used only on the Super Sport models and could not be ordered on a malibu. This Chevelle is also a "L" coded Kansas car, which most people believe to be a Super Sport Code only used in the Kansas assembly plant. The driveline of this Chevelle is a correct 396 with a 1969 build date, however the suffix shows a "CE" for a warranty replacement engine. The transmission is a newly rebuilt 400 turbo, and a 12 bolt rear axle. This is a very detailed restoration, that provides a laser straight body with excellent body gaps and body lines. The paint is very beautiful and presents well. The vinyl top is in as new condition and called for on the cowl tag. The chrome and stainless is either new or polished to a excellent shine. The wheels are new 17"front and 18"rear American racing Torque Thrust PVD, but i do have the original 14" Factory styled Super Sport wheels available if you prefer. The interior is black factory stock bucket seats with the horseshoe shifter and console. The dash has the factory guages and the factory tachometer and a new custom auto sound radio. In all this really is a rare car to have, according to Chevelle Stuff.net their were roughly 503,00 1969 Chevelles total of which 286,162 were 2 door hardtop cars, but only 2800 receive this paint code, that equals out to around 1 % to receive this paint color. In fact records show that more cars were sold in primer than in Daytona Yellow color. i welcome all inspections of this Chevelle and will answer messages in a timely manner. I may be reached at 859-582-3395 if you want to discuss the car or arrange a inspection. thanks in advance.
