1970 Chevelle SS 396
This is an orginial 1970 Chevelle SS with factory Build sheet.
Factory AC Car, missing compressor. Power brakes and power steering all in good working condition.Big Block 396 casting number 3999290 with automatic transmission, with 12 bolt posi rear end, F41 suspension.Bought it from the 3rd owner, locally in Southern California, the car had been sitting since 1994.
Did the following to bring it to current condition. All the dash and gaugesare in tact, but I haven'thad the wiring looked at to get them all working, lights work, wipers work, radio did work until I removed the speakers, all the windows work and are not cracked or damaged.New BF Goodrich Tires, complete tune up and all fluid change, new water pump, new master cylinder, and brake pads, new battery, new Hollycarburetor, new air cleaner, touched up and blended the paint, cut and polished the paint, Black Cherry color code 78, with black stripes. Replaced door locks, installed new front bumper, old one was pitted and chrome was peeling off, rear bumper is original, new rear package tray, everything else in the interior was just as I found it, its in very good condition.
I kept the car in as originalcondition as possible, keeping a lotof the originalitems in place and not replacing them.It is currently, registered and on the road as a running and driving car, and runs and drives good.
The build sheet outlines all the options and SS package that is came with from the factory.
The body and paint is not perfect but a good solid car. Can keep it as is or take it to the next level of perfection.
Great driving car, and a real SS, will only keep going up in Value with the documentation.
Hagerty Values, good condition 55K, exlnt 68K and concurs85 to 100K plus depending on options.
Has clean CA title and currentTags and Build sheet.
