1967 Chevrolet Nova 2 Door Hardtop.
Long Time Southern California Resident Finally Parting With Her Iconic Chevy Classic After 48 Years of Ownership (Please See the Last Picture of the California Title, "Pink Slip" From July, 1971). She Purchased This 2 Door Hardtop From the Cormier Chevrolet Dealership, Located in Carson, California, in the Summer of July, 1971. As the Second Owner, She Was Told By the Car Salesman That the Original Owner of 4 Years Traded It In Because He Was Planning to Move and Retire in the Neighboring State of Arizona. It Was Originally Sold New in Southern California, and Still Retains Its Original California Black and Gold 6 Digit License Plates. Although the Previous Owner Did Not Keep Maintenance Records, She Had It Regularly Service By Cormier Chevrolet in Carson, California, (the City She Resided In As Well).
The Original 235 Cubic Inch Straight 6 Cylinder Engine, and the 2 Speed Automatic Power GlideAre Intact But Have Not Ran In 4Years. The Body Panels are Original According to Her and No Accident Damage Or Previous Rust Repair is Present as I Can Detect, (Although Im am Not a Professional Body/Fender Technician). Floor Pans, Trunk Pan, and Quarter Panels Look Original and Southern California Solid. In the Spring of 1998, The Exterior Paint of the Nova’s Factory “ Capri Cream” Was Resprayed With a Medium Blue Metallic Paint. The Overall Paint Shines, but is Bubbling, Chipping and Peeling in Areas.
The Factory Deluxe Black Interior was Also Showing It’s Age and Wear About the Same Time the Nova Received an Exterior Paint Color Change. The Front and Rear Bucket Seats Were Reupholstered, and New Carpet Was Installed as Well. In the 48 Years of Ownership, She Added Only an Audiovox FM Receiver Under the Dashand Audiovox Speakers in the Interior’s Foot Panels (No Cutting of the Interior Metal).
This Nova 2 Door Hardtop is So Factory Original, the Chevrolet Trunk Pan Mat, Interior Headliner, 14 Inch Wheels With Original Chevrolet Hub Caps, Steering Wheel, and AM Radio Have Never Left This 2 Door Hardtop, and Are Still Present.
In the Fall of 2015, She Finally Stopped Driving. The Chevy Nova Sat in Her Garage Until 4/28/2019 When She Finally Decided to Sell.
