1964 Chevrolet Corvette Description

64 Corvette Coupe Resto-Mod Project.Original trim tag and vin plate, clear titleThis is a project that I purchased from a friend of mine 5 years ago. He was making it into a "track day" car out of it. My plans were to make it into a rest-mod as it is a good candidate for that. Just too many projects and no time.
Cowl back original body with C-3 frame modified to fit mid-year body and C-4 front and rear suspension. The rear has the stronger DANA 44. Adjustable coil overs up front not installed (new).
Back interior fiberglass floor was cut for rear suspension mods and roll cage (have all cut pieces). roll cage is 8 point with door bars that have pins (I was going to remove most of it and leave rear roll bar for resto mod). It is installed professionally and just has surface rust on it now.
The bird cage is in good condition with some minor rust pit holes (see pictures).
Body and doors are stock, body has minor cracks but nothing that justifies new panels, unless you want to put on flares or wider stock quarters.
I have window side vents and some side window hardware (see pics). Door hinges are good. This is an early 64, so it has the raised door handle pads. I was going to make it a 63 "clone" as 63's had those door pads.
Has an original GM over the counter stinger hood 427.(see pics)
Does NOT come with any Glass.
The frame was modified before all the resto- mod frames were on the market in mass, you could also get one of those and transfer the C-4 suspension also. A stock mid-year rolling frame could be purchased and you could go the stock route.
What you see in pictures is what comes with the car. Four (4) steel wheels and tires are included as rollers so the vehicle can move. Finished Corvette resto-mods are bringing crazy$!!!
