1967 Chevrolet C-10 Rare Short Bed Fleetside Small Back Window Description
You are looking at a real California Cruiser that is a daily driver and can be driven anywhere! This Early 1967 Chevrolet C-10 Short bed Pick Up Truck with a Small Back Window has the right "Unmolested Original Look" The body is straight and solid with a Flat White Paint job. Originally a Yellow School District Maintenance Truck with years of service and regular service.
The 67 starts, drives and stops well. It has a Rebuilt 292 I6 engine with 20k miles on rebuild, recently tuned up with a Distributor cap/ rotor, spark plugs, and wires. Hi-flow Water pump, Re-manufactured Radiator and flushed fluids keeps this truck cool. Chrome Valve Cover and chrome air cleaner. Single Barrel Rochester Carb, Great on gas. Flushed fuel tank. The I6 has a single exhaust that exits out the driver side of bed and sounds great. The Turbo 400 Auto Transmission shifts well with gear selection on the Floor with a B&M Shifter.
The Drum brakes on this 1/2 Ton have been bled and adjusted. New master cylinder... This truck stops on a dime. It rides on 15" Red Steel Rims and 225/70 R15 BFG "Pinner" White Wall tires and Bow tie Caps. CPP Lowering springs in the rear and front suspension gives this truck a lower stance. CPP Panhard Bar and shock relocation kit installed. Looks like a old truck drives like a old pick-up,that said it easily goes straight down the road. Very nice grill, painted front bumper in good driver condition. The Very Solid Bed has a all steel floor, roll pan, and working tailgate.
The interior is very comfortable with solid floors covered with black rubber mat. Vintage truck stop seat cover is over the stock Bench Sea, Shoulder and lap seat belts . New Sony AM/FM/CD Deck but doesn't work at this time, maybe fuse? Gauges Cluster functions ie; Speedometer, fuel, volts, oil pressure, temp. Working Wipers, Lights, and Turn signals. All of the original safety flat glass, windshield, and back window are crack free. All windows roll down freely. The interior is still painted the original color and has great patina and character. The Truck shows signs of it previous life as a work truck hear and there with some chips and dents... that said it shows well and overall is a solid old truck, See pics!!!
In a nut shell this is a rare classic truck! Turn the key and go cruise! This is not a museum quality car rather a original truck that has been loved and used its whole life as a fun truck, ready for someone to just enjoy as a nice driver or take it to shows not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool truck. Any and every-time I drive this truck I get nothing but waves, thumbs ups, conversation, I cant come out of a store with out somebody standing there looking in!
This is a California Truck and always has been to the best of my knowledge. CA Commercial Plate. It is a good driver with clear CA title. Visible Vin and Body Tags. Drive as is or restore it, must see to appreciate!!!
