1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900 WOW! This is a great little car that has been pampered and loved. The current owner is a tried and true Car Guy that restored this Monza for his wife. Nothing was over looked. The rust free body was painted the original 920 Autumn Gold with a Base Coat Clear Coat process. This was done by Aaron Strom of Cruzin Customs in Banbridge, Wa. The body is smooth and the paint shines! The glass, seals... and body gaskets were all replaced. The interior is stunning in its original gold color with the inlaid buttons. New front seat covers, door panels, nice headliner, nice dash. Dynomat was applied on the floor before the new carpet was installed. The gauges and lights all work like they should. All except the gas gauge. The owner did not like the way the gauge would bounce so not wanting his wife to run out of gas the stand alone gauge was added. A new sending unit as well as an extra original guage will come with the car. For your listening pleasure a New Custom Autosound in dash stereo was installed so you can cruise to your favorite tunes! The heart beat of this Chevrolet is a 1964 2.7L 110 horsepower air cooled 6 cylinder mated to a manual 4 speed. The engine is estimated to have about 18K miles since the rebuild. The engine was rebuilt by Dick Hull of Shelton Wa.. Rebuilt Carbs by Wolf Enterprises. Pertronix ignitor II ignition, New plugs, wires, fuel pump, motor mounts. New clutch and pressure plate. New seals on the trans input shaft. The Monza rides on new 175/80/13's and was treated to new shocks. 2014 Corsa International peoples choice award. If you are looking for a nice Corvair to spend your hard earned money on this is the car you have been waiting for!
