NEW TIRES, WHEELS, STEREO.
The reserve on this car is probably less than the cost of the paint job alone. The car belongs to my cousin who bought this car this year and due to financial circumstance is selling it at a serious loss. The car is mint, everyone who sees it comments on how amazing it is or wants it. I already have a long term tri-five that I keep for sentimental reasons and 5 other special interest cars. Everyone and I mean everyone who sees it comments on how nice it is. The only reason the car is on eBay is because no one I know has the means to buy it at this time and/or the room to properly store and care for it. It is a no excuses car. Selling at a super low reserve at a loss to my cousin. Someone is going to get a SMOKING DEAL!! My friend and I have been trying to find a place to hide it from his wife for him to buy it, seriously, it is that nice. Spend 30 minutes with the car and you will be in love with it, it just gets nicer and nicer the more you look even if you are a jaded chevy guy (ask me how I know). So here we go:
Up for auction is this seriously amazing mint condition 1957 Chevy 210 Post Sedan finished in an indescribable electric blue paint job. The paint color and the way it reacts in the sunlight is seriously amazing, you would have to see it in person to believe it, the paint is a mile deep appearing and at night it looks darker and sinister. The jambs are all smooth and flawless, this was a very high dollar paint job. If you know paint jobs you know that $35,000+ for a paint job like this is not out of the question.
The sound this car makes driving down the road is only outshined by it's very high dollar brand new custom hidden stereo system with 2 hidden amps and 2 sub-woofers. This car handles and drives like a new car, it is amazingly tight, effortless to maneuver with it's power steering and the shine off the hood will amaze you as you get all the attention. I have been around try-five Chevy's for 35 years, this is one you want to own. No expose spared on the paint, interior, drivetrain or details, not to mention the brand new wheels and tires. I am selling this car for my cousin, who has to sell this car due to circumstance, the reserve is substantially less than he paid for the car earlier in the year before he added the stereo, new tires and wheels and a seriously expensive show car quality professional detail.
The car has a 355 small block chevy built with Edelbrock performer series aluminum heads and an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor on top of an Edelbrock aluminum intake where the fuel is ignited by an MSD 6A full ignition system. Cammed up and sounding mean the exhaust exits through the headman ceramic coated headers then all the way out the rear like they should be. The engine is cooled by a C&M full 4 row aluminum radiator backed by an honest performance fan shroud.
The engine then hooks up to a 700R4 overdrive transmission shifted by a B&M ratchet grip shifter that puts the power down through a 3.55 geared full positraction rear end.
The car rides on KYB gas adjust shocks and BRAND NEW fire hawk 225/40 and 275/35 tires on 18" US Mag wheels. The chrome is flawless, the trim is amazing, the tires and stereo have less than 100 miles on them. Front power disc brakes, stops on a dime.
Car runs out very, very well, see videos. We welcome inspections, appraisers, mechanical inspections, personal inspections, test drives, this is one very well built car. Always adult owned and never abused.
Bid with extreme confidence I have over 120 AAA positive transactions on eBay and I have sold many, many collector cars, motorcycles and even a vintage yacht from my collection/car collector hobby on eBay.
