1967 Chevrolet El Camino -- Description

EXTERIOR: This is one color that the pictures do no justice. Out in the sun its amazing, actually the color is a big reason we bought it! I'm ooking down both sides of this thing right now and it is laser straight. The reflection of the ground is like a mirror. Doors fit flush and square. The chrome and trim isn't new but shows real well. Front bumper and dual mirrors with Chevy bowties are new. Jambs are painted real... nice, bottoms of doors are clean. New weatherstrips, window fuzzy seals and windshield. The big chrome wheels really make it pop! They are 17 inch, wider in back and has Kumho performance tires. INTERIOR: The seat is a Strat-o-Bench, it's like bucket seats attached with an armrest. The seat is reupholstered, headliner, door panels, armrests, dash pad have been replaced. Dash area is good, nothing cut up or broken. Has a retro stereo fit in the factory hole. Has 2 6x9 speakers in back. Excellent carpet with embroidered floormats. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: You open the hood and it's sharp looking. Dressed up with chrome and a great set of finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. The 350 runs strong. Upgraded with Edelbrock intake and 500cfm Edelbrock carb with electric choke. Has HEI ignition and headers. New air conditioning system blows cold. New power brake system. Everything is clean and proper- washer bottle is hooked up, radiator looks new, has shroud. Bottom of the hood is painted the body color, has the insulation. The firewall, inner fenders, radiator support are all clean satin black. BED COMPARTMENT: Rock solid, straight metal in the bed. Actually it doesn't look beat up at all, the ribs and wheel wells are straight. It's been completely sprayed in durable bed liner, so it's very functional. Throw your stuff in the back and dont be worried. The tonneau lid fits real nice. It is light weight, locks and is removable. UNDERSIDE: Has great sounding fat dual exhaust with Flowmaster and crossover pipe. Custom rectangular stainless tips This Camino checks the boxes: has air, power steering, power disc brakes. Sure, you can take it to any show with pride. In between the shows, keep using it. On a nice day do your running around in something that will turn heads and raise your cool score by at least 3 or 4 points!
