The owner has added the following:

The Factory Air Conditioning System while comprised of all new or restored components was never charged with Freon or activated. Jeff Steinmetz, the restorer, advised that the 1957 era compressors tend to “mist” the A/C lubricants, requiring more frequent cleaning of the engine bay to maintain a pristine appearance.

Since this car was intended for show purposes rather than frequent driving the system has not been charged and activated.

The speedometerhas been recently replaced, the actual mileage since restoration is +/- 400 miles.
