1972 Chevrolet C-10 Description

This is a no reserve auction, there is no "buy it now" price, you are bidding to OWN the truck! Please know how auctions work, if you bid and win, you own, and will pay for the truck, it costs money and time to list a vehicle for auction, so please do not bid if you are just here to play games.

This is a mild custom 1972 chevy short bed truck. It has a 350 small block with a performance intake, Edlebrock 4bbl electric choke carb, aluminum performance intak, long tube headers, HEI distributor, new water pump, new battery and starter, new power steering hoses, later radiator, electric fan, new fuel lines, gas tank, cap, and sender. Engine was rebuilt at some point by a professional shop out of Oklahoma, tag is on the front of the engine, unknown internals, has good power and sounds tough!Transmission is a 3 speed stick shift, custom shifter.Truck has a new, stainless tilt steering column, custom steering wheel, and new ignition switch. Truck has bucket seats with no rips, new chrome kick panels, door seals, front and rear window seals with a new windshield. It also has a new dash pad.Truck is on 20 inch, 5 lug, chrome wheels,( I have the center cap not pictured) 2.5 dropped front spindles with new rotors and new brake soft lines. Inner and outer tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints were also replaced. The brake system also has a new power brake booster, new master cylinder, and new rear wheel cylinders. The front of the truck has a new aluminum grill surround, new insert, headlight door, and bumper.Rear of the truck has a shaved/smoothed tail gate and stake pockets. There are new door handles, mirror, and side markers as well. Gas tank was moved to under the bed, cab gas filler hole was shaved.Paint is an original 1972 chevy color, metallic blue/clear coat. There are minor scratches/imperfections, not a show truck! Both inner and outer rockers were replaced at some point, very solid! New cab mounts, cab supports look very good! I see no rust anywhere except for under the battery.
The truck has not been driven very far, or very fast as it has no tags/insurance/plates, but seems to run well. Im sure it will need a bit more work before driving far or fast! Brakes needs a cable, and proportioning valve, there are currently no seat belts, and I would recommend installing a set of under dash gauges to monitor the engine. Alignment has not been done since the dropped spindles were installed because it was going to be bagged, but never happened. You are welcome to ask questions or set up a time to come see the truck and I will do my best to accommodate you. I am not the original owner, so I don't know it's full history, but I know its been in Texas for at least 20 years. Texas title in hand. You are bidding to OWN THE TRUCK, not the right of first refusal! $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable! Only bid if you intend on completing the sale! Check with your bank/significant other before bidding! Thanks for looking!
