1954 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

This is a 1954 Chevy 3600 long box pickup. Almost every bolt on this truck has been replaced. I will try to give a full list of what has been done to this truck. Over $20K in new parts and hardware alone has been spent on this vehicle. I just no longer have the time to give it and it has been sitting in a storage garage for over a year now and I just want it to go to home where it can be finished and enjoyed.

Engine: 283 V8 (out of 1957 Chevy Bel Air), completely rebuilt with less than 2000 miles, bored 0.80, align bored, balanced, reconditioned rods, 350 cam installed, heads had full valve job, Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor, hugger headers, GM HEI distributor

Transmission: TH350, rebuilt but unsure of mileage

Rear End: 3.55 ratio, open rear-end out of same 1957 Chevy Bel Air, rebuilt with new bearings and seals with less than 2000 miles. Mounted on top of the leaf springs and coil over shocks were installed to assist.

Front End: Heidts CX-307-E-K, Mustang II IFS kit, power rack and pinion, TCI control arms, 2" drop spindles, frame mount 7" brake booster, front disc brakes, sway bar

Body: Taken off of the frame and repaired. Cab corners and floor pan replaced where needed. New drivers door, all fenders replaced, bumpers, front bed panel and tailgate are new. All hardware was replaced with stainless steel bolts. Bed wood is Bird's Eye Maple with all new stainless steel bed strips. The inside of the bed was coated with Herculiner. Blue LED lighting mounted in the grill to give a demonic look when the headlights are on.

Frame: Original frame, cleaned and coated in POR-15

Interior: Tan leather cover over original seat frame. Custom made console with cup holders, storage, stereo, and extra gauges. JBL speakers, Polk Audio Amp, and a pair of small subs under the seats. Old school tachometer, original dash gauges, speedometer doesn't read accurately, transmission needs a different speedometer gear. Chrome tilt steering column and new steering wheel.

Wheels and Tires: Foose Nitrous 17" x 8, BF Goodrich tires

This truck is being sold "AS IS”. I would recommend removing it with a trailer as it has been in storage for a while now and I am unsure of the drive-ability without time to evaluate the condition. I drove it 25 miles on the highway the other day averaging 60 mph with no issues but uncertain how it would do on a long drive. The truck does have a power steering leak, I believe the wrong hose end was installed into the rack and pinion and needs to be replaced.

Clear title registered in Minnesota, but currently stored in Wilson, WI. Serious buyers only please. I also have the item for sale locally and reserve the right to end the listing early. You must make your own arrangements for pickup or delivery. Call me if you have questions or would like to see the truck. 920-655-7600
