For sale is a vintage 1953 Chevy 1 1/2 ton truck with title. Original family owner, bought new by my grandfather. Had been used on uncle's farm, primarily for grain harvest, until I purchased it in 2005. Used occasionally since on my farm. The engine is original along with the 4 speed transmission. Working Century hoist. Truck does start up and drive, road-worthy for daytime. The body and floor is solid. Nothing rusted out or dented, just paint weathering. Typical seat cover deterioration on driver's side, requires a cover (see photos). The windshield and back window are nice. Box is in good shape, stored out of weather. New clutch 10 years ago. Brake work since, along with recent new ignition parts. 6-volt electrical system, negative-ground. Includes grain-dump gate, as well as full set of livestock panels. Truck has been under shed last 10 yrs, previously in enclosed machine shed. Call or text with any questions.
Truck is located at my previous farm near Beatrice, Nebraska, and is not currently in use since farm sold last year. I am now located in Minnesota. I can meet buyer between July 12-15 to help with loading, or another time by arrangement. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange pick-up and all costs of transporting.
