1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Description

This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray is straight out of someone's personal car collection, he has owned it for the past 8 years. Car is a matching number C2, except for alternator and water pump. On the 65 the rocker panels were restyled, knock-off wheels available from factory order, side exhaust system was offered to make it more aggressive. A telescoping steering wheel and new gauges influenced by aircraft design had been added as well. Disc brakes came standard for the 65's. the Seats were redesigned with larger and supportive cushions. Also a special order heavy duty transmission M22 dubbed the "Rock Crusher" Why? because of the sounds it makes while shifting was a factory option. This Stingray got it all except for the M22.
It runs and drives like it was strait out of the factory, has been kept for the past 8 years in a climate controlled environment and driven time to time to car events.
Picture of the Engine Block number are available upon request, this is a 117843 - F0330HR = 327-CID 300HP V8 WITH 10.5:1 COMPRESSION RATIO, AIR CONDITIONING. CALL IT A L75 SMALL BLOCK, THEY PRODUCED EXACTLY 8358 OF THESE ENGINES.
It comes with features like CAST ALUMINUM KNOCK OFF WHEELS, POWER WINDOWS, AIR CONDITIONING, GENUINE LEATHER SEATS, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, SIDE MOUNT EXHAUST SYSTEM, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, SPECIAL FRONT REAR SUSPENSION, POWERED ANTENNA,... I could keep going, its a fully loaded Stingray.
The Corvette does not come with any past history although it was purchased from a reputable dealer in Connecticut. As I expressed earlier this Chevy is presently owned by someone from the Nascar Race Industry, who ever takes it home will have a little story to tell.
This is a all matching number Stingray, except for Water Pump and Alternator, YES, it had been repainted back in the day, previous owner, although this a very special car, I will gladly put running pictures or video for a true buyer - for immediate assistance email or text Cyrus at 702.286.3248 - Car is located in Charlotte - North Carolina
