1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 Description

The 1990 ZR1 Corvette set the world on fire.This was truly the “King Of The Hill” when introduced, and at twice the cost of a base Corvette, nothing like it had been seen previously. But aside from a monster list price ($60k in 1990, almost $120K in today’s dollars), this car brought some serious performance to the C4 model, including an incredible 24-hour endurance run averaging over 175 mph and 0-60 in just over 4 seconds.

This car is in great condition throughout with only 15,000 miles since new. Standard 1990 ZR1 design cues include wider bodywork, squared off taillights, 11” rear wheels, and ZR1 badging.The highlight of the ZR1 is the remarkable LT5 alloy motor. Designed in collaboration with Lotus and hand built by Mercury Marine, it is rated at 375 hp (a 50% increase over the base 1990 Corvette). The DOHC design with four valves per cylinder represented Corvette firsts.Its outstanding performance has been well documented, as has its longevity.This car is a 6-speed manual transmission manufactured by ZF.

This car is a fully-loaded ZR1 including dual power leather seats, power windows and locks, Delco Bose Gold Series stereo w/ CD player, selective ride control and automatic climate control. It includes dual removable roof panels- painted fiberglass and transparent tinted acrylic.
